Hi, I’m Adela — a mother, tea enthusiast, nature lover, and Reiki Master Teacher.

I started Tea with Adela in 2023, a few months after my daughter was born.

When I first discovered Reiki in 2021, I had absolutely no idea what it was. I was simply a member of a yoga studio where the beautiful Joanna happened to be offering a Reiki course. I saw the advertising, felt a nudge, and signed up — not knowing at all that this would mark the beginning of a deeply transformative journey and a special mentorship with her.

A couple of months later, I completed Reiki Level 2. At the time, I was convinced that was as far as I would go. I had no desire to become a practitioner or pursue the Master level. Reiki was just a quiet tool I used at home — on myself and my cats.

And honestly? I was afraid of what people would think.

Reiki felt “woo-woo,” something I kept hidden.

But everything shifted at the end of 2022 when my daughter was born.

In that moment, I knew I wasn’t going back to a full-time 9–5 job. I wanted more — for her, for our family, and for myself. I wanted flexibility. I wanted purpose. And I was done hiding who I truly was. I wanted my daughter to grow up seeing the best version of me. I wanted her to know that we can live outside the standard norm, that we are allowed to follow our passions, our gifts, our truth.

And so, in March 2023, Tea with Adela was born.

She is a mother.

A space holder.

A reflection of everything I stand for.

She sees you in your wholeness, in your true power, and she holds space for you as you reclaim your sovereignty.

Nature has always been my sanctuary — the place I feel most at peace, most myself. Reiki deepened that. It didn’t just help me feel calmer or more balanced; it opened doors within me that I had closed out of fear. It reawakened parts of me I didn’t even know existed — gifts, intuition, connection, grounding, clarity.

Things I never dared to imagine for myself. Reiki opened a pathway for me back to Mother Gaia, and today I work with her very closely in everything I offer.

Whether you choose to become a Reiki practitioner or simply take Reiki Level 1 for your own healing, know this: the connection that Reiki awakens within you is beautiful, powerful, and transformational. It meets you exactly where you are — and gently guides you back to who you’ve always been.

My dream is for humanity to find its way back to itself — back to the truth of who we are at our core. Somewhere along the way, so many of us have forgotten.

When you work with me — whether 1:1 or in a group setting — you’re stepping into a space where Gaia and Reiki meet. Together, they help clear the noise, expectations, energies, and stories that do not belong to you. Only then can you truly hear yourself again. Feel your own intuition. Recognise your own voice.

My role is to gently guide you back home to yourself.

As we begin clearing what’s external, your physical, energetic, emotional, and soul bodies naturally begin to rebalance. Your system remembers how to heal itself. It knows the way — it simply needs the space to do so.

As a proud toddler mum, I’m all about sustainable, short practices — I simply don’t have the luxury of time for elaborate meditations or rituals. So the practices I teach are sustainable, grounded, and intentionally short. They’re made for real life — for mothers, caregivers, busy humans, and anyone who wants meaningful connection without needing hours each day.
