Why Study Reiki LEVEL I
Reiki Level I is the gateway to your potential.
"Reiki" means Universal Life Force; an infinite stream of energy from the seed of the cosmic womb which powers all life in our Universe. It contains the original blueprint of Creation, and therefore holds the ability to bring YOU - body, mind, and soul - back to your original blueprint. It reminds your energy body of it's natural and perfect balance; resulting in improved health, balanced mental wellbeing, and true Soul alignment.
In this training you will be Attuned ("dialed in") to this infinite stream of energy, learn simple rituals for self-practise, and take home basic healing techniques to support your loved ones.
The Attunement itself is a profound healing process, which results in a 21 day period of re-calibration as things in your life that are not in alignment with your original blueprint start to peel away - leaving more space for the true light of your Soul to shine through.
Reiki is effective at reducing pain, stress, anxiety and common illnesses, but it's power is much greater than that. Through devoted self-practise you will find a deep sense of connection to yourself and the Universe. As the layers of conditioning continue to fall away you will find yourself stepping into a new chapter of your life, with greater purpose and clarity. You will begin to live your true potential.

1. On-Demand Videos
There are 4 videos for you to watch in the month leading up to the In-Person Workshop. This is so that you can absorb the theory elements in your own time, without overwhelm. These videos are lifetime access so you can come back to them again and again.

2. In-Person Workshop
In this full day workshop you will receive your Attunement, and practise five traditional techniques:
- Gassho - Reiki Meditation
- Kenyoku - A ritual for cleansing your energy
- Chiryo - Full Body Treatment for Self & Others
- Byosen Reikan-ho - Energy Field Scanning & Balancing
- Reiji-ho - "Guided by Spirit" aka The Intuitive Method

3. 21 Day Integration Journey
The 21 days following your Reiki attunement is often looked back on as one of the most transformational times of your life. Be held and guided by your teachers, through videos and audios designed to help you cultivate a devotional practise, discover diverse ways to use your Reiki every day, and support your body and mind through this energetic upgrade.
4. Community
SEH is not just a school, it's a community: a place of nourishment and continued support. When you graduate from Level I you will be invited into our private online space where you will enjoy ongoing access to your teachers, a library of resources, discounts for additional short-courses, and free fortnightly online Healing Circles.

at your pace
Take your time to work your way through your pre-workshop videos and resources. We all learn at our own pace so take your time and repeat things if you need to. Your questions will be answered by your Lead Teacher inside your Training Portal.
Frequently Asked Questions
I am totally new to "energy", can I join?
YES! Reiki Level I is complete beginner level, introducing you to the absolute basics of energy healing and practise, so that you can ease in gently to this new terrain.
I have learning and/or accessibility needs, is this training suitable?
We do our utmost to provide accessible learning, and to book venues that are accessible to all bodies. Occasionally a venue may not be suitable for all needs - if you are unsure please reach out and we will do what we can to find the right training for you.
I studied Reiki ages ago, should I join Level I or Level II/Master Practitioner?
This is entirely up to you. Some people prefer to repeat all levels starting from Level I, and some prefer to repeat only their most recent training, or progress onto the next level. With each Level you will gain access to all the online theory from previous Levels (you will just miss the in-person element). If you have previously studied with Joanna Tolley and want to repeat a level, please get in touch via the contact form for your discounted rate.
WHY DON'T YOU TEACH LEVEL I & II TOGETHER?
There is a minimum 21 Day Integration period between Level I & II. This is so that your mind, body, and energy field have time to calibrate to the new frequency. It is important that you use those 21 days to focus on your self-healing and practise - that is what makes an embodied healer. In our experience, at least a three month gap between Levels I & II seems to be optimal.
i don't want to become a practitioner, is that okay?
Yes, absolutely, many people do Reiki training solely for their own personal growth and healing. You are welcome and encouraged to follow your own path.
I'm super keen to start a Reiki business, is there support for that?
Yes! Our Level II trainings provided you with all of the info you need to set up your Reiki business. After you graduate from Level II you will be invited to our signature modular program: Medicine Weaver. Module 1 is designed to support you in launching your business at a deeper level - assisting you with website building, personal branding, Soul Purpose, healing visibility wounds and much more. This is one of our specialities at SEH and we can't wait to support you.
